RH Digital is part of RH Designs which was established in 1994 to manufacture and sell the original “StopClock” f-stop enlarger timer. Since then our range of darkroom products has expanded and RH products are in use in darkrooms all over the world, widely respected for their performance and reliability. RH Designs has always striven towards achieving the highest standards in traditional silver-halide photography, and we’re now approaching the fast-growing world of digital photography with similar aims.

We've approached digital imaging from a photographer's point of view - as with our widely acclaimed darkroom products - and selected products that we feel offer the best performance and value. Our DISC1 calibration system is also influenced by photographic rather than computer considerations - after all, you want to make pictures, and we want to help you achieve that end without the need for an in-depth technical knowledge of computer systems!

Whilst digital ink-jet printing methods are now well established as a means of producing high quality colour prints, the production of black and white ink-jet prints of similar quality to those made with traditional silver-based materials has been harder to achieve. However after considerable research and experiment RH Designs is pleased to offer what we think is the best currently available range of materials for monochrome ink-jet printing - PermaJet - together with some “How to” products of our own to help you get the best from digital imaging in general. While we specialise in monochrome digital imaging, we can also supply the complete range of PermaJet colour inks as well!

We’re pleased offer the MonochromePro ink set for Epson 1290 and 2100 printers, which offers a wider range of tones including full sepia and the ability to print on semi-gloss and many gloss papers.
