 Fibre Base Gloss is the latest addition to PermaJet’s range and represents the closest match yet to a traditional fibre-based, glossy unglazed darkroom paper. As such it is ideal for black and white prints. The surface has a slightly undulating texture and a sheen which is somewhere between the full gloss of a resin-coated paper and a pearl finish. It is an instant-dry paper with a scuff-resistant finish, ideal for use with pigment inks. The Royal version is smoother, brighter and heavier and is perfect for fine monochrome printing as well as colour. When used with an Epson K3 printer in advanced black and white mode, there are no colour casts and no metamerism.
A very large colour gamut coupled with a bright white base makes Fibre Base Gloss ideal for vibrant colour prints as well as monochrome.
