Continuous Inking Systems - Save on your Ink Costs!
PermaJet, the first company to design, develop and pioneer ink flow systems in 2001, have spent the last 18 months developing a completely new, Direct Injection system for Epson printers called Eco-Flo.
The special delivery system has been designed to feed ink from an external bottle unit up a ribbon of tubes into a special module which replaces the standard set of cartridges. It has been designed specifically for bulk ink delivery, unlike many competing systems which use modified ink cartridges. The system offers considerable cost savings compared with cartridges, and when one colour runs out simply obtain a new bottle and top up to keep the system running smoothly.
This new technology has been under long term tests which established that virtually no head cleans were required, even if left for weeks at a time. This is a huge step forward for consumer confidence, as it means less wear and tear on the printer, with savings on ink and user time.
The cartridge technology is fitted with special PermaChips that operate as a normal chip on a injector and while printing the ink levels will drop as normal on the status monitor.
The inks have been developed and formulated as a "plug and play" to Epson original inks, which ensures a good colour balance. If you are a critical user, generic profiles can be obtained from the PermaJet website or why not invest in a Custom ICC Profile for your precise setup?
Eco-Flo is available for the following Epson printers: Stylus Photo 1290, 1290S, 2100, R800, R1400, R1800, R1900, R2400, R2880 and Stylus Pro 3800.
